Care: - Teak is rich in natural oils, which rains can release, leaving marks on new teak furniture. Before first use, we recommend rinsing natural teak outdoor furniture thoroughly with a garden hose. Do not use a pressure washer, and be sure not to place the garden chairs under the garden table while rinsing - To periodically clean all exterior hard surfaces, use a dry cloth or soft brush to remove crumbs and leaves, without scrubbing. For deeper cleaning, you can use natural soap and warm water. To clean any teak furniture, always follow the direction of the grain. - To remove stubborn stains or surface scratches on natural teak surfaces, extra fine sandpaper can be used gently. Always sand following the direction of the wood grain. - All outdoor items are equipped with glides to prevent scratches on floor surfaces as well as water absorption from the floor or deck.To move furniture, lift it, do not drag it. - Any spills should be removed immediately with a damp cloth and natural soap. Do not use soaps containing detergent or other chemicals - Make sure that solutions used to clean floors, patios or decks do not come into contact with the furniture. Some types of wood contain tannins, which cause the wood to react with the metal and leave permanent stains. Avoid close exposure to heat sources. - Dry to avoid streaks or limescale and avoid standing water in retention areas such as joints. Avoid using fabrics with dyes, as color transfer may occur. - Do not use steel wool, coarse brushes, pressure washers, mineral acids, bleaches or chlorine cleaners on aluminum surfaces. - Clean bird droppings to avoid the risk of corrosion or marks due to the high acidity they generate.
